Community

A community, not a contractor

Every project is delivered by a small team of Meridian graduates, guided by a senior mentor from the academy. You get the energy of a product studio with the rigor of a school that has trained product builders since 2016.

We turn great training into real-world impact: products our clients rely on, and careers our members are proud of.

Meridian Collective started in 2019, when a handful of Meridian Academy graduates asked a simple question: what if the best final projects did not end at graduation? What began as a few evening builds is now the home where our graduates, mentors and advanced students keep building together.

Clients come to us with real problems, from a fishing cooperative that wanted to sell its catch directly to a health network that wanted calmer waiting rooms. We form a small team around each one, pair it with a senior mentor, and work in the open from the first workshop to launch day.

How a project team is formed

  • A mentor lead who owns quality, scope and every client conversation.
  • Two to four graduates who design, build and test the product day to day.
  • Academy students who join specific milestones as part of their training.

This portal exists so you never have to ask where things stand. Every project page shows its current stage, its milestones and the people working on it, updated by the team as the work moves forward.

What we stand for

How the community works

A few principles every project team follows, from the first workshop to the final handover.
  • Learn by shipping

Members grow by building real products for real clients, with every decision reviewed by an experienced mentor.

  • A mentor on every team

Each project is guided by a senior practitioner from the academy who signs off on design, code and delivery.

  • Work in the open

Clients can see progress, milestones and the people on their project at any time, right here in the community portal.

  • Craft over shortcuts

We favor tested, maintainable work, because the products we build need to outlast the cohort that started them.

For clients

How a project moves from idea to launch

Every project page shows one of these five stages, so you always know what is happening now and what comes next.
  1. Discovery

We meet your team and the people you serve, study what exists today and agree on what success looks like.

  2. Design

Ideas become prototypes that we test with real users before a single line of production code is written.

  3. In development

The team builds in short cycles, with a demo for you at the end of every one.

  4. Testing

A working product runs with real users while we fix, tune and check accessibility and performance.

  5. Launched

The product is live. We stay on for a support period, then hand over everything your team needs.
